#303 Fusion 360 Program Comment

Description

User-String-Variable #302 holds the Fusion 360 Program Name/Number from the Post Processor window.

User-String-Variable #303 holds the Fusion 360 Program Comment from the Post Processor window.

These variables are defined at the beginning of the job file and do not change during job execution.

This is an example of a #302 and #303 information string:

#302 = "1001"    ; Program Name
#303 = "Program Comment of Program Name 1001"   ; Program Comment

Information Source

The default values for these fields comes from the Post Processor Tab of the first Setup of the CAM File but can be changed:

After pressing the Post Button the Save File dialog box will come up and the default file name will be the Program name or number with a .nc extension. You have the option here to change the file name but be aware that when you do so, the name in the #302 variable will no longer match the job file name.
